ATEI, IBEW Local 98 and the Penn-Del-Jersey Chapter of NECA share a strong commitment to returning Service men and women who have served our Nation so honorably. Veterans often express that transitioning from military to civilian work life presents many challenges. In our experience, however, veterans joining the electrical trades find the “helmet to hardhat” transition relatively easy and rewarding, with requirements aligned to expectations and competencies they already have.

With the valuable skills and work ethic they possess, it's no surprise that veteran men and women are highly regarded for jobs in the electrical industry. ATEI works hard to ease the transition of veterans into our Apprenticeship programs and a lifelong career in the electrical trades, offering programs covered under Veteran’s Benefits. In fact, the Director of Training works personally with each new apprentice to help certify those benefits.
